I am 99% healed from the rib injury.
I say 99% because if I sprint and run hard on the treadmill I am getting cramps right where the rib injury took place. It’s happened twice so far and what I’ve determined is that when I am breathing hard and my lungs are expanding the separated rib is stretching and moving around which could be pushing against the scar tissue that is more rigid and less flexible than the muscle surrounding the other ribs.
I imagine that this will subside once the muscles get used to the expansion and flexing from the lungs expanding.
It is also not 100% because when I was doing hanging leg raises I went to twist my hips while raising my legs and my ribs said they didn’t like it!
